Description

An EYFS Teacher in the UAE is responsible for the education and care of young children aged typically between 3 and 5 years old, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This framework focuses on holistic development through play-based learning, fostering a love of learning and preparing children for future education.
 

Job Responsibilities

Planning and Delivering the Curriculum:

  • Create engaging and stimulating lesson plans aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Utilize various teaching methods, including play-based learning, storytelling, music, and movement.
  • Observe and assess children's development, tracking progress and identifying any additional needs.
  • Individualize learning activities to cater to each child's unique learning style and pace.
     

Creating a Safe and Nurturing Environment:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Supervise children closely, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Establish clear routines and expectations for behavior.
  • Build positive relationships with each child, fostering their emotional and social development.
     

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other EYFS teachers, sharing best practices and creating a cohesive learning environment.
  • Work with specialists (e.g., speech therapists) if needed to support individual children's needs.
