Description

A Nursery Nurse with a DHA license plays a vital role in caring for and supporting young children (aged typically between 0-5 years) within nurseries in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role requires a valid license from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), demonstrating qualifications and competency in providing basic healthcare to children.
 

Job Responsibilities

Direct Childcare:

  • Assisting with daily routines like diaper changing, feeding, and dressing.
  • Supervising children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote their development (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive).
  • Observing and reporting any concerns about a child's health or development to senior staff.

 

Maintaining a Safe and Healthy Environment:

  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the nursery, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks for children, following dietary guidelines.
  • Assisting with administering basic first aid to children in case of minor injuries or illnesses.

 

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians, updating them on their child's progress and well-being.
  • Collaborating with other nursery staff (teachers, caregivers, and management) to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment for children.
  • Following instructions and adhering to established policies and procedures within the nursery.
