Job Responsibilities

• Processing of Reservations for Hotels / Heritage Expeditions Africa / Gateway Stream and Virtual Partners • Ensuring maximum occupancy daily by performing follow ups on progress of groups and other business booked • Management of Block Bookings (Groups & Series) • Taking Reservations requests for the 3 Business Units • Handling Reservations from ENQ, TEN, DEF status • Finalizing bookings & reservations including accurate invoicing • Administration of bookings – manage confirmations, changes and cancellations • Facilitate third party bookings with Hotel / Gateway Stream & Heritage Expeditions Africa strategic Partners • Inputting of Final Rooming lists into OPERA PMS • Reservations follow ups – 60 days out • Management of Booking guarantees, Rooming Lists & Wash downs • Rates management per Agent • Ensuring accurate PMS data management, i.e. inventory management, segmentation, rate loading. • Monthly reporting on Figures generated via RSA Central Reservations for Hotels, Gateway Stream & Heritage Expeditions Africa. • Conversions of in-system bookings, Invoicing, chasing of Payments from clients • Liaison with Reservations Teams at Resort Hotels and Central Reservations • Management of the Office Pipeline Report for all 3 entities to increase conversion ratios • Conduct any other adhoc duties as and when the business environment demands • Analyzing forecasts for the Resort Hotels and Gateway Stream to ensure we remain on Target • Management of the Office Pipeline Report for all 3 entities to increase conversion ratios. • Conduct any other adhoc duties as and when the business environment demands.
